Livelihood
Livelihood development is at the core of poverty reduction and community empowerment. Our Livelihood Initiative focuses on improving economic opportunities for individuals and families in underserved and rural communities. By providing skills training, financial support, and market access, we aim to empower people to build sustainable livelihoods and improve their quality of life.

Skill Development and Vocational Training Providing individuals with market-relevant skills is key to creating sustainable livelihoods. We focus on:
Vocational training programs: Offering training in areas such as tailoring, handicrafts, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, computer skills, and other trades that are in demand in local and regional markets.
Soft skills training: In addition to technical skills, we provide training in communication, problem-solving, customer service, and entrepreneurship to ensure individuals are well-rounded and prepared for the workforce.
Certification and placement: After completing training, participants receive certification, which enhances their employability. We also work with local businesses and industries to facilitate job placements and apprenticeships for our trainees.
- Tailored vocational training: Offering skills training programs specifically for women, such as tailoring, beauty services, food processing, and handicrafts, to help them build marketable skills.
- Women’s self-help groups (SHGs): Encouraging the formation of SHGs where women can pool resources, access micro-loans, and start collective businesses, such as food production units or small-scale manufacturing.
- Promoting women-led enterprises: Supporting women entrepreneurs with business training, mentorship, and access to financial resources to help them start and grow their own businesses.
